There was not a ranch taste at all. Tasted just like corn chips.

      Hi Tammi!

I’m sorry it didn’t turn out well for you. I’m not sure why the ranch flavor didn’t come through for you. If you want more ranch flavoring, you might try it with more ranch mix. I haven’t tried that, but if you do, let me know how it goes!

I made these yesterday & found them very greasy tasting. Is one 9.75oz bag corn chips with 1/2 cup butter right amount? It’s like too much butter for amount of corn chips. I even put the ranch corn chips in the oven today at 200 for 1 hour hoping it would help & it didn’t.
I compared this recipe to your Crock Pot Cracker Crunch Snack Mix, which has 18 cups of crackers with 1/2 cup butter. 18 cups compared to one 9.75oz bag is quite a difference for same amount of butter.

These really look good, but how do you “stir” corn chips without breaking them all up? I can see how you might toss them gently with your hands in a much larger bowl, but…….?

      Hi ShirlR!

I used a soft spatula and stirred them very gently. I hope that helps!
