The core of your writing whilst sounding agreeable in the beginning, did not really settle properly with me personally after some time. Somewhere within the paragraphs you actually were able to make me a believer unfortunately just for a short while. I however have a problem with your jumps in assumptions and you would do nicely to fill in those gaps. When you actually can accomplish that, I could definitely end up being impressed.

This turned out very well, but I couldn’t get the meringue to peak at all, so I used cool whip instead, and it was still really delicious. Is it possible to substitute allulose for the sugar in this recipe? In this surprisingly easy yet really addicting pico park game, you’ll be screaming with joy and frustration as you make your way across neon landscapes and throbbing sounds.

Glad to see the chicken & dumplings made the list. I made this for the first time this fall and it was delicious. I have made the walnut pillows probably 4 or 5 times in the past 6 years (currently have a Christmas batch storing in a tin) and each time they have gotten easier and better. Hopefully more people will give them a try and they will make next year’s list :)

My family is in love with your Baked French Toast Recipe with Praline Topping. I had some heavy cream I needed to use up so I put the recipe together in November and froze it until the day before Christmas. I put it in the refrigerator to thaw and then I spread the praline topping over it and baked it Christmas morning. All I really have to say is the recipe is from The Brown-Eyed Baker and they know it is good.
    Have a wonderful 2024, Michelle.

Your meatloaf is our favorite!! We make it all the time and when we do, we make an extra one for the freezer. It freezes beautifully for a quick meal at a later date.
Also love your ground beef chili and am making it Sunday!

Orange cookies with sweet orange glaze were the favorite this Christmas. Love your blog and so many of your recipes.

    • JudyC13 Reply

I made these too for the first time this year. Definitely a new favourite for cookie exchanges. The tip about rubbing orange zest into sugar makes a big difference to the taste. When I realised I forgot to save zest for the icing, I used a tangerine instead – worked well.

We have become great fans of the refrigerator bread & butter pickles! Once my husband took a bite they became his favorite! I make a batch almost every week. Thanks

  25. Sheila Derrwaldt Reply

We made the Classic white bread and it was wonderful. The aroma alone was worth any effort. We (my husband & I) are not great with yeast recipes but this one was not hard and it was delicious. I had a pic, but can’t find it.
    Love your blog!

  26. Teresa Reply

I’ve made the Oreo Cheesecake so many times I can’t count but I’ve had no complaints from my family! It always bakes perfectly & is delicious. I don’t think I’ve ever made a BEB recipe that was a disappointment!

  27. Chrissy Reply

My well loved printout of your “best chili” recipe is oh so sauce-stained, a bit crumpled, and the first thing I refer to on cold New England days when I need inspiration for a hearty lunch/dinner! Paired with skillet corn bread, this is my favorite chili of all time. Thank you!!!

  28. ELipsman Reply

I tried yourGougères recipe for Thanksgiving and they were fantastic! I love your blog! Also, the hamburger sauce is indispensable all summer long for grilled burgers! Keep up the good work, and have a happy new year!

  29. Domenica Reply

My daughter and I made your cut out sugar cookies with royal frosting this Christmas and they are the best cut outs ever! I have made many of your recipes throughout the years and they are all fantastic!
    Happy New Year!

  30. Deb Reply

We make your Chipotle Chicken all the time, even in “winter” here in Florida. Thanks for all the recipes but more so, thank you for the optimism, joy and sunshine that the pictures of your family (including dogs) brought during this somewhat dismal year! (And your Friday and Saturday posts that helped me to know what day it was! HA)

Happy New Year, From one Michele to another. My fave recipe was the apple cake. It was perfect for Rosh Hashanah this crazy year! I look forward to another year of deliciousness and your family.

  32. Carol Snyder Reply

I have made many of the recipes from your site, and have enjoyed all of them. So far my husband is a huge fan of your chili recipe. But two nights ago we had burgers and I made your recipe for “special burger sauce.” The accolades were unbelievable – I deserve none of them, so I’m passing them on to you. My husband could not stop raving over the burger with the “wonderful sauce,” how “fabulous” it was. Thanks so much for turning what is usually a bland burger into a smashing success.

  33. Carol Snyder Reply

I have made many of your recipes over the past couple of years. My husband and I love the scalloped potatoes, chili and many others. Two nights ago we had burgers with the “special” sauce and my husband went wild over it. You would have thought I had fixed the most extravagant meal ever -I do love to cook!-but his reaction was insane.

Thanks for making what is usually a very ordinary meal quite extraordinary!

  34. Terry Mahoney Reply

Everything I have made from your site is delicious. One of mine and my families favorites is your banana split pie, it has made two appearances in the last two months (as requested by hosts) and a third one this weekend. I changed the crust and used crushed vanilla sandwich cookies with melted butter. OMG! My family went crazy! Nut’s I tell you. With the left over crushed cookies, at severing I sprinkled them over the top. Just when you think something couldn’t get better it does. My nephew’s graduation party is this weekend, instead of cake he has requested this pie.

  35. Wendy Reply

Hi Michelle, I’ve made a variation of one or 10 ;-) of your cheesecakes over the years. I also made your corn casserole three times over the holidays and have made your roasted potatoes probably weekly this year. Thanks for all of your quality and classic recipes!

    • Dori Reply

Michelle’s corn casserole is sooo good! I love that one, too.

  36. Beth Reply

Your crock pot mac and cheese is always on my Thanksgiving menu! Soooo good!!! I have also made your garlic herb & parmesan roasted red potatoes when we have had family over – always a hit!!

  37. Macy Reply

Omg sooo many did not make your list. Creamed corn casserole, beef enchiladas, white chicken chili, and how about the many many baked goods. Too many delicious things to count up the faves. They’re all usually great. Look forward to more new deliciousness in 2020. Happy New Year. Many blessings to you and your family.

  38. Paige Cassandra Flamm Reply

Oh my gosh! These all look incredible! That burger sauce and those potatoes look like an award winning combo!

  39. Linda Reply

Classic apple pie and bakery style rice krispies 😋!

  40. Renee Reply

Two of our favorites made the list: roasted potatoes & crock pot mac & cheese.

The recipe I make the most is the meat sauce recipe-can’t believe that didn’t make the list tho!
